The church family of St. Matthew’s invites you to worship with us on Sunday mornings at 11:00am.

Upcoming Events:

Order by November 27thBack in time for Christmas: Order your 5” Meat Pies for $6.00 per pie. You can pick up order forms can at the back of the church, or from any member of the Ways and Means Committee. The cut-off date to place your order is November 27th and the pick-up date is December 11th in the church hall after the service.

November 27th - There will be a Lost Villages Advent Service on Sunday Nov. 27th @ 2 p.m. in the Lost Villages Sandtown Christian Church.  Rev. Feras will be officiating at the service and he will be joined by Janelle Moore on the keyboard.  Everyone Welcome. Please come out and support this event. 

December 4th - Membership has its privileges.  We are planning a service for new members and communion on December 4th.  If you have not already expressed an interest in becoming a communicant member of St. Matthew’s and would like to join, please speak with Rev. Feras Chamas.

December 7th – Seaway Winds will be performing their annual Christmas concert Wednesday, December 7th, commencing at 7pm.  In case of bad weather the alternative date is Wednesday, December 14th. This is be a free will offering, with 50 percent to be given to the Seaway Winds. If you would like to reserve a table please contact Paul Wannamaker at 613-537-2436.

December 9th – The Centennial Choir of Cornwall will be performing at St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Cornwall at 8pm. Tickets are $15 for adults of $7 for children under 12 years old. You can purchase tickets from Choir members or from the Home Hardware in Cornwall (Pitt & 13th Street East), Corwnall Square Mall’s Second Floor Lottery Kiosk, or at St. John’s Presbyterian Church office. 

December 11th – The Centennial Choir of Cornwall will be performing at St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Cornwall at 2pm. Please see the December 9th event posting above for ticket purchasing details.

December 24th - There will be a Christmas Eve service at St. Matthew’s on Saturday, Dec. 24 at 6:00 pm. Please note that there will NOT be a Christmas Day (Sunday) service the following morning. The next church service will be held on Sunday, January 1, 2017.

December 31st – We would like to run a non-alcoholic New Year’s Eve party at St. Matthew’s this year.  It could feature card or board games, the ball drop, or a variety of other things.  To get involved or if you have ideas, please contact Reid McIntyre.

January 27th, 2017 – Robbie Burns Dinner sponsored by St. Matthew’s and Lost Villages Lodge, No. 256, at the Ingleside Masonic Centre.  Meet & Greet 6 pm, dinner at 7 p.m.  Tickets $26 a plate.  Please speak to Jim Duck to buy your tickets.
