At the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Saturday February 21, 2015, just two weeks after being diagnosed with mesothelioma. Carl Jordan Armstrong of Ingleside and formerly of Lunenburg. Born May 22, 1922 in Hammond, Ontario. Carl was the last remaining child of five girls and four boys born to Kenneth and Uraney (Woods) Armstrong. The most loving husband of almost sixty-six years to Eleanor (Bethune). Dearest dad of Janice (Max Rutley) and the late Wayne Armstrong (1997). Grandpa and great-grandpa of Jarrett (Christine), Josh, Chris (Lucy), Justin, Jaden and Evan. To honour Carl’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Memorial Hill Cemetery in Lunenburg. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Justin and Jaden’s most proud and loyal hockey fan. We will sure miss his red tassel at the rink.
